Basic property:
It is a kind of loose white powder, which has a layer structure similar to graphite. The properties are similar to those of graphite, so it is also called “white graphite”. It is lubricant, moisture-absorbing easily and light, having excellent electric insulation, thermal conductivity and chemical resistance. Boron Nitride has a strong absorbency of neutron and its finished goods have a favorable property, which is convenient for mechanical process. Its anti-oxidation temperature can reach 900℃, and its heat-resistance temperature can reach 2000℃.

Use:
（1）Having excellent chemical stability, it can be used as structural material in atomic reactor, crucible and evaporation boat, as well as spout of plane and rocket engine, etc.
（2）Because of its lubrication, it can be used as high temperature solid lubricant and many kinds of parting agent of precision molding products as well as lubricating grease against compression and high temperature.
（3）With heat-resistance and corrosion-resistance, it can be used in high temperature resistant, anticorrosive boron nitride and boron nitride compound ceramics as well as all kinds of high temperature resistance, anticorrosion, oxidation-resistance coatings. In addition, it also can be used as heat shield material in space flight and aviation industry.
（4）For its insulated character, it can be used as insulator in high pressure and high frequency electricity as well as dielectric of plasma arc.
（5）In the situation of high temperature and great pressure, with the function of accelerant, Hexagonal Boron Nitride can be tranformed into Cubic Boron Nitride, which is very hard like diamond.
（6）It can be used as additive like oxidizing additive for refractory material, especially for the anticorrosion of fused metal as well as transistor desiccant and additive for polymer such as plastic and resin.
